The information I have for John James William O'Connor is obtained from his death registration. He was born on 14 January 1912 in Adelaide, South Australia. His mother is given as Eliza Henrietta Carolyn O'Connor, maiden name Shaw. Father is John O'Connor, occupation Factory Manager.

John James William (Jack) O'Connor married Hilda Emily Easterling, an only child, on 11 July 1936 in the Roman Catholic Church in Bankstown, Sydney. The date they arrived in New Zealand is not known to me but the family were living in Kohimarama Road, Auckland, NZ by 1950 where Jacks given occupation is "inspector".

In later years Jack and Hilda separated but neither remarried. Jack died in Middlemore Hospital, Auckland at the age of 87yrs, on 30 September 1999. The number of years living in NZ is given as 54.

John Gerrard Francis O'Connor was born on 5 April 1937 in Australia. John, who never married, was for a while a secondary school teacher, thought to be of music but this is unconfirmed. Family lore says his death notice included one from the Rationalist [&] Humanist Society.

He died at Te Mana Hospital, North Shore City, Auckland on 31 January 2004, aged 66yrs. Number of years in NZ is given as 58. He is buried at North Shore Park cemetery, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, Auckland.
John Gerrard Francis O'Connor's death registration gives the occupation of his father (John James William) as an insurance Salesman.

I do not have any information regarding Peter Kerry, the younger brother b.1941. It is known that Peter had three children from his first marriage - Glenn, Brett, Claire. Peter and his second wife were living in Papua, New Guinea in 1999.
